Challenge: declining TV revenues

Viewership of key television studio property (“Intervention” on AMC) was declining along with overall viewership of traditional cable channels, resulting in pressure on GRB’s revenue stream as the provider of the show to AMC.  The show has a loyal following of viewers but since the subject matter is addiction, some advertisers steer clear of it.

Solution:

Adapt the business model to tap online revenue source(s).  Brand X recommended a non-traditional approach to augment ad revenue by creating an online presence that could generate leads for addiction treatment centers.

Results:

Brand X delivered a detailed business plan for GRB as a sell-in tool with their customers.  The plan was modularized in order to apply to other TV properties. The project still under consideration by the cable networks.
